when there is a frequent requirement of some application
(for example, square or cube of numbers) in some program,
if every time we do the calculation, the length of the
program can become very large. In such applications, we use
the look-up table to considerably reduce the size of the
program. Look up tabe is a predefined table in which one
answer is corresponding to every number. for example, 1-->1
2-->4, 3-->9, 4-->16.... will be the look-up table for the
square of a number. Whenever in the program, there is an
application of squaring a number, we don't need to do the
calculation. what we need to do is just to relate that
number with the one against it in the look-up table. We
need to reserve required amount of memory for the look-up
table.
