172.17.32.0/23 into a /27 how many subnet?
n=23-27=4
total no subnet mask =2^n - 2=2^4=16
where n is the no host
subnet =2^n=2^4=16
Total no. of usable host are..... 30
We have used the subnet bit so remainig bits are for host
means...
5 bits are available...
so 2 to the power 5
means 32 total no. of hosts..
usable hosts are..32-2 ====30 answer
