Basically MIS reposts need to be devided into two
categories i.e. reporting to CFO or Senior A&F person and
next is to Management. MIS report to CFO should be
technical in nature which specifies all the related
information about taxation duties pending and provisions on
which a CFO can make decition. On the other hand reporting
to management should be so simple that a lay man can
understand. There should be a summary page in reporting to
management in such a way that they can get an overall idea
to make decition on company affairs. The main purpose of
MIS is decition making and controlling the business
affairs.Accounts and finance is assumed as information
factory and management is the quality control Dept. based
on MIS report.
