WHY IN THREE PHASE CABLE 440V CURRENT FLOWS IF IN ONE PHASE
230V CURRENT FLOWS ???
Answer Posted / ariel
Line Voltage = 2* Phase voltage * sin 180/no of phase
so, if line voltage = 440v
Phase Voltage = 440/ 1.732 = 254v
if 3 phase
1.732 = 2 * sin 180/3
