whu does the power factor of diesel generator always be 0.8.

when we say that DG set has 0.8 Power Factor it means
a 1000kVA DG shall deliver 800Watts only.
If we try to load more than this it shall drag more amount
of current. & Ultimately voltage will drop accordingly
resulting in generation of capacitive VARs.
