What is effect of power factor on change in voltage
Answer Posted / balla
P=V*I*P.F
P.F=P/S
S=V*I
where P is power in KW and S is appearant power in KVA,
when V change while P remain the same it will decrease the
cureent and vice versa, so there is no affect on P.F , the
real affect on P.F is when there is change on power demand
either real or reactive.
If the voltage change can affect P.F why we dont use this
philosophy on P.F correction !.
