Ramachandran has constructed a plot of the allowed and
disallowed phi and psi angles of adjuscent c-c and c-N
single bond. Ramachandran plot explains the dihedral
angles, phi against psi of amino residues in protein
structures. it gives degree of rotaion of bonds relation to
each other.
