CAN 50Hz transformer work at 60 Hz power supply? if yes how
it is possible?

Answer Posted / raghvendra kumar

Yes it is possible at 60 Hz also and it will work same as at
50 Hz but losses i.e. Eddy current loss is directly
propotional to square of frequency and hysteresis loss is
directly proporional to frequency (generally), so if we put
it on 60 Hz then more constant loss will occur which reduces
the efficiency as well as rating (due to Thermal limit).
