Restarting of PC happens when
1.CPU temperature is exceeded than rated temperature
Normally this is due to Improper contact between Heatsink
surface and CPU surface.When the conact is week or improper
between the cpu and Heat sink the CPU core teparature rises
enormously and the CPU thermalShutdown protection system
causes to cuttoff the powersupply for the CPU to safe guard
from thermal damage.
The above cuase is general and Most happening.
apart from this cause some other factor may also cause
system restart.
Viruses will terminate the OS processes so it causes to
shutdown.
Incompatible extension cards,unstable software
installations are the other class of causes for system
shutdown.

But are test cases for performance, database, boundary, relational integrity and other types of tests other than functional tests created from frs and system design specs as well? hi all I have an overall experience of 12 years working in an EDP setup(worked in a manufacturing setup in a German MNC). On my request, I was relieved from my duties in Sep 06 for maternity reasons. However I would like to pursue a career in a software organization as a manual tester.
