voltage at generation stage is usually- ?
a.11kv b.33kv c.66kv d.220kv
Answer Posted / naveen
ofcourse the voltage at generation stage is 11 kV maximum
becuse of insulation limitation of the generator. as the
generator voltage increases we will need to provide extra
insulation across the windings & that will make the whole
machine bulkier. Despite of that voltage is stteped up
after generation at suitable level.
