DCS is distributed control system and it is used to control
a plant (ex: power plant). DCS will have its own database
where in PLC doesnt have. Also scanning time for DCS is less
than 100mSec.

dear sir we have insatlled positioner model no.sipart PS2 make Siemens at our control valves . now problem is if we want to increase the response of valve opening speedy /fast. what parameters do we change for positioner ? any idea. please guide us.

We are using Rosemount 5400 series Radar Level Transmitters in all types of Sump Applications having oily water hdrocarbon petrochemical nature. What we are facing the problem frequently is that always getting reading frezzed at some value. If we do power recycling , sometimes it is working . then making same freezing problem.
