why we are using large cross section cable at load side and small at other (11kv to trsfr)side of transformer?
when the load increses current at both side increases,right?

For the same power transaction in a transformer((we know,
in trasformer the power is tranferred from one winding to
another winding through magnetic medium)) if the voltage
level is decreased,the current level increases which in
turn increase the cable size to supply the load with
minimum voltage drop& power losses.
THE CURRENT RATING OF THE LV WINDING IS HIGHER THAN
THE HV WINDING.
when the load increases, the current on both the
winding increses.But the amount of increasing current is
large in LV side compared to hv side.
