Material requirement planing is maintain the material stock
as per your requirement.
1.MRP
2.CBP
1. MRP: System should generate the indents based on the
work order planing i.e MD61 - INDP.REQ VA01: SALES ORDER
after create the document run the md02. so system generate
the indents.
CBP - Consumptio based planing system generate the indents
based on the reorder point level , lot size settings and
minimum stock levels.
Planned the CBP based on the past consumption and forecost
based ( historical data)
Over all system generate the planned orders then convert to
purchase req (ext purchase) then purchase order.
If internal procurement - planned orders to productio oders
then issu to cost centre.
