Surge arrester povides a low resistive path for lightning
and switching surges and thus diverting it through the low
resistive path,hence protect the device.
Surge suppresser reduce the peak and rate of rise of
switching surges.
Modern days line designes are mainly based on switching
surges.

Both generator parallel condition shared load equally but one genrator taking ampere more than the other what are all the causes to make like this
why do you add the load short circuit impedance when considering short circuit amperage. It seems that you should only consider supply. If you need to consider loads and you don't know what loads are to be added , what would be a good sub-transient reactance rating for the loads?
