unassigned nodes - infoobjets(char/keyfigures) are stored in their respective folders i.e. infoobject catalog for char and keyfigures. SAP BW automatically assigns the infoobjects which have not been assigned to char/keyfigures infoobject catalog into default one.
1. unassigned units
2. unassigned keyfigures
3. unassigned chars
4. unassigned time chars
Infoobject catalogs are also stored in folder: infoarea. All infoobject catalogs which are not explicitly assigned to infoarea are assigned to an infoarea and stored in Unassigned nodes infoarea.
