PP is the central module in concern of manufacturing
solutions of SAP .
It is the main ,core part of the business process flow in
any industry which is related to production . And it is
central control for the Shop floor activities.
SAP PP consist of ,
1)Planning material- ( MRP and consumption based Planning)
directly for with sales orders or through the PIR and
CR. So Sales planning is input for the PP .
2)Also second most IMP in PP is CAPACITY PLanning .
Then it comes to DATA Management --which consist of the
Material Master ,BOM, routing , Work center , PRT,
Documentation , etc.
The Initial DATA records should be created at the time of
project implementation and costomising and then you can make
neccessary changes to data as per your records.
And then finally , Order management . that is Order execution .
