What do you mean by homogeneous and heterogeneous copy?
Answer Posted / shkk
When the copy is done withhout changing the OPERATING
SYSTEM and the DATABASE this kind of copy is a HOMOGENEOUS
SYSTEM COPY.
BUT
When there is a change in the OPERATING SYSTEM or DATABASE
or BOTH CHANGE then this kind of copy is a HETEROGENOUS
SYSTEM COPY. During the kind of copy a " MIGRATION KEY " is
needed which will be provided to a Certified Migration
Expert by SAP.
