What are Drift and Diffusion currents?
Answer Posted / vaibhav sharma
drift current is independent of any type of electric field
(applied or natural)it only depends on the no of electron-
hole pairs made available in the depletion region
diffusion current is very much affected by any type of
electric field (initial or applied)change in diffusion
current depends on way in which the substance is attached
to the voltage
