A fuse is an electrical conductor whose melting point is
low.It is always connected in series with the apparatus
whom we wish to protect under the condition of short
circuit or such faults which causes a heavy current flowing
through the appratus that can damage the appartus.Under the
heavy current flow, the fuse element burn itself and
disconnect the appratus from line and protect it from
burning.
