The single layerd membrane surrounding to vacuole is
tonoplast which is generally composed of lipid, proteins
and carbohydrate. But the , composition of this membrane
may vary to plasma membrane or any other membrane of the
cell.Many number of transporter are present, hence amount
of protein present may be more as compared to others. The
enzymes present in the vacoule may be either attached to
the tonoplast or int he matrix.
