I did not get ur idea here but i will answer generally:
When reactive power consumption (inductive loads) increases
the power factor go down, current increases in the system,
voltage will drop in transmission cables and generators
terminals & the wasted unuseful energy will increase as
will.
To over come this problem there are two ways:
- installing capacitors in the load side so this capacitors
could supply the reactive power demanded by the load. the
main disadvantage is output energy from the capacitor
depends on the line voltage in case it drops the VARs
supplied will come down.
capacitor place & value should be carefully choosen to
avoid leading power factor if the capacitors supply more
VARs than the load demand.
- static VAR generatos & compensators will produce VARs
nevertheless line voltage but it is very expensive.
the question why the capacitor installed on the load side??
BCZ reactive power dissipation is very high in transsmition
lines so if u put capacitor in generation side u need to
supply huge amountof reactive power to sully small
inductive loads more over the transmission lines will be
over loaded & over heated as well.
