COMMUTATORS IS USED ALONGWITH THE BRUSH TO PROVIDE UNI-
DIRECTIONAL CURRENT AND TORQUE FROM THE ARMATURE
AND IT CONVERS AC TO DC IN DC MOTOR OR GENERATOR
