how to find the diameter of steel bar from steel area
Answer Posted / abhijit
check the is code SP-16 which is an aid to rcc design
compare the area which comes closest to your calculated
area u'll get the dia. of the bar and the num. to be provided.
u can also combine two areas to get your Ast. but then u'll
have bars of two dia.
for a basic thumb rule.
use formula 3.14(pi)/4* dia*dia=Ast.
u'll get dia. from the eqn.
