I got H1B approval in 2009 quota. But I would like to give
Visa interview in Jan 2011. So is it ok to give the
interview after almost 1 year? If no, then what is the
maximum time they allow for appearing the VISA interview
after H1B approval?

check your I-797 form where you can find your expiry date of H1 B,so it is ur maximum time,even my H1 b was approved in 2008 but i am attending the interview on jan 2010,ok

Hi,My husband is approved for H1B visa and he needed to book for interview on September to go in October. He was once rejected B1 visa on March same year but we lost the paper and do not exactly remeber the reason of rejection but we know that it was because there was no enough ties for him in the UK and they were doubtful about if he would come back or not. If we cannot provide them the right reason, will they reject our visa. We have only got the papers which say that his H1B visa is approved.Please reply. Tina

Hello All, Recently my brother had interview @mumbai consulate although he got H1petion in CHENNAI.unfortunately he had applied fake experience letter from mumbai company.I think they VFS had verified it. On the day of the interview the consulate got him fake and made him write that it was a fake experience letter and gave this statement"WE WILL PROCESS YOUR WITHDRAWAL REQUEST". luckily they left him with passpot as he is higly qualified,nothing is mentioned in passport.
