Body earthing by cable armour is not the correct way of
earthing a machine. armour earthing and gland earthing of
cables is done to prevent any shock which occurs in cable
or gland
According to IS 3043 of earthing , it is essential to
provide double earthing for a machine body eaither through
copper or GI falt according to its calculated short circuit
current rating.
