I agree with Rupinder Singh. Visa officer has nothing to do
with your college as you are granted admission (I-20). But
sometime students take low grade universities just for the
sake of stepping in US. This is what a visa officer wants to
avoid such admission.
To improve your visa chances try to take admission in good
University.
If you have any financial trouble to pay to that good
university as most of them charge more then you can change
university after you step there. Only for the sake of visa
select it and then dump it...

my graduate school had my gre score sent to them by ets but up till now that i am about to attend the interview i do not have my copy of the score

I completed MY BSC IN 1994 THAN I completed MLT IN 1995 SINCE THAN I RUN MY OWN LAB NOW I WANT TO EXPAND MY LAB SO I APPLY FOR MBA IN healthcare management in usa so study gap will effect on my visa conformation or what i said if vo ask me about study gap
hi, I going to the US for my masters in spring. Its my dad who is sponsoring me. But he just retired a few months back & hence is no longer paying any IT(income tax). So will it be a problem n getting a visa if i still show him as my sponsor ?? I have the funds in his account to cover the 2yrs plus a 15 Lakh education loan to support my studies. Thank you

Since you can earn much more money if you work in US after graduation,why not?
