what is the iron loss in a 11KV/440V transformer?
Answer Posted / rawat
Iron losses (No load Losses) are depended on your flux density, and frequency/voltage. Simply apply the voltage at LV side which gives rated secondary voltage at HV side (at open circuit). Measure the voltage current and power factor at input side (or simply the input power). Wo=VISin(phi)shall be your no load losses.
