secondary server is used for the purponse of backup, or load
balancing
the main roll is performed by primary server
there are too many rolls of primary server, it depends upon
the server configuration
basic roll is
User Authenticaton, (Login)
managing network reousces like providing IP address, and net
work configuration to the client,
server may be cofigured for providing following service
Internet (as proxy)
Web request (as web server)
file transfer (as ftp)
centeral application (like ATM)
protection (as firewall)
and many moor
