how can u determine size of the conductor by knowing the
voltage level

you cannot detrermine the size of the conductor by only
knowing the voltage level. awire of just 1mm thickness can
carry 1kv level of voltage. until and unless u complete the
circuit the current wont flow and thus no issues.the
current is the 1 who heats up the conductor n burns
it...dats why we always luk for current carrying cabability
of any conductor not voltage level.
