how to implement spc. why we need spc?

Answer Posted / sagar sikder

SPC is an online process improvement methodology, used to
check whether a perticular process is under statistical
control(i.e. subjected to chance cuases of variation)or
not.It tells the operator/process woner for which type of
variation he should react and for which type of variaton he
shoul leave the process as it is.

For effective implementation of SPC one shoul have
1.Clear understanding about the process,Specially the idea
about the controllable process i/p and o/p variable.
2.Idea about SPC tool and techniques.
3.Concept of variations.
