what is the difference between UPS & Inverter
Answer Posted / nareshji
ups means un inturrupted power supply with a strict voltage
regulation and below 8 mili second transfering or switching
capacity of load to battery operated mode it gives perfect
output which is between safe limit of critical costly
precise components like medical instruments or computers
while inverter is low cost version of ups means its output
voltage is not so presisely regulated it may very between
large voltage range and mostly used to run fans and
household tubelights if you will use ups it will
continuously run your computer in case of power failure
while if you use inverter then there is chances to switch
off and restart of your computer and loss of all your
unsaved data
thanks

In Power Line Communication (PLC) the wave trap is used to block communication signals from entering neighboring lines. My question is this: Why do they allow for different filtering arrangements on these wave traps? Isn't it always going to be a low pass filter since we want the power frequency to go through, and the comm signal blocked?
