Memphis was the ancient capital of the first Nome. (Egypt)
AKA -lower Egypt which existed before it was united by
Pharaoh Narmer. After it was united Cairo became capital. &
later the empire age which its capital was Thebes. But
during the age of pyramids , the capital of Egypt was Cairo.
