why we use minimum cement as given in IS mix design code
Answer Posted / rajeev
it is necessary to use minimum cement not only to save the
cost its mainly because of to reduce the chemical reaction
which happens inside the concrete ie to reduce the heat of
hydration which ll cause or develops cracks on the hardened
concrete in the later stages. this may lead to
deterioration of concrete.
