What is the difference between Code Release and Code Build?
Answer Posted / arnold
Several builds make one Release or Version. Builds are
developed feature wise, functionlity wise etc....After
testing , retesting , regression testing etc...these builds
are frozen and named as Versions. For example build 1
undergoes lot of changes and becomes build 2 , build 3 and
build 4 etc...Once the build 4 is frozen the term Release
or Version comes into picture.Build frequently changes
whereas Release takes long time to change.
