This test is similar to open circuit test on a
transformer.During this test ammeter, voltmeter,
wattmeter readings are noted.formula for the induction
motor in no load condition in star or delta is
Wi=W1+W2 Wi=sqr(3)VIocos(pi0)

we have require a Motor (1500kW, 6.6kV, 50Hz) which shall operate at 1500rpm during 30min and after it shall run on 500rpm during 15min.
