some plants or algae produce hydrocabon,ethnol etc which
can act as actual and potential source of energy.
these plants are known as petrocrops.
example of some petrocrops are Jatropha curcas,Pedillanthus
macrocarpus, Copifera langsdorfii,Calotropis procera
etc.
