There is following types of cables.
(1) Low Tension (L.T)cables-upto 1,000V.
(2) High Tension (H.T) cables-upto 11,000V.
(3) Super Tension(S.T) cables-from 22 KV to 33 KV.
(4) Extra High Tension (E.H.T)cables-from 33 KV to 66 KV.
(5) Extra super voltagecables(E.S.V)cables-beyond 132 KV.
