a little bit modification to above answers-
An opam is an amplifier designed to perform specific
operations such as
subtraction,addition,integration,differentiation,log,antilog
etc. A diff. amp is a part of opam. And opam can also
function as differene amp; which amplifies the difference
of the two signals.

The drain line of the tank is connected to a control valve, and is configured as, if the level of the tank is 90% the valve should get open 10%.
