investment and asset are similar in their nature which
indicate strength. Investment is a component of asset which
is to be invested in the marketable securities like shares,
debentures,negotiable instruments like commercial papers,
bills of exchange, bonds etc.while assets may be either
current assets or fixed assets.Fixed assets include
land,machinery,plant, etc. current assetd include short
term investments, bills recievable etc.
