who will prepare Functional requirements specification(FRS)
Answer Posted / sanjay
Hi,
When Software Requirement comes, the Business Analyst
Prepares the Use Case Document and BRD (Business
Requirement Document) / SRS (Software Requirement
Specification). Later on, Development Team Lead starts
working with creation of FRD/FRS document (Functional
Requirement Specification Document) that specifies every
feature in technical terms. FRS contains different modules
of the projects, it must match with BRD/SRD, hence it is
required to put Use case diagrams, Activity diagrams, class
diagrams, ER diagrams etc. After that Tester helps with
Test case which includes Unit Testing, Integration TEsting,
and then User Acceptance Testing.
After that Deployment phase start which again contains so
many things.
If we talk using SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
then every organization may have their own process of
implementing SDLC. Basically, FRS comes in Development
phase of SDLC and prepared by Tech/Team Lead.
Thanks,
Sanjay
