The flow of current between the two conductors of the lines
negligiblely smal for parctical purpose.When the electric
field intensity reacher 3 MV/Meter the error in visinity of
the condutor no longer remains a dielectric but it ionised
and become conductive.This electric breakdown is associated
by yhe following phenomena. A fair glow appears around the
conductor which is visible in the dark.there ais a tendency
of vibration by which a sound is produced.
