Testing means operation of sytem under controlled
environmental conditions and evaluating the results(i.e
actual and expected results).
Here the controlled environmental conditions means
Both Normal conditions : + ve cases
Abnormal conditions : - ve cases
One more general definition is that
"comparision of actual and expected
values of application under test"
