1)Rather than selecting any element in an equi. class as
being, boundary - value analysis requires that one or more
elements be selected such that each edge of the equivalence
class
2)boundary val depends more on input test condition whereas
equi value test cases depend more on output classes

What about the test case if the field only takes a certain number of characters or a minimum number?
If you are handling a product testing and if there are around 100 test cases and in them few test cases are failed then at the end of the day how will you treat whether the product is pass/fail.? consider the failed test cases are in functional requirements.
