Fuse is an device used to protrct the wireing,in case of
over current, short circuit conditions. When this type of
fault occurs in a system or failure of insulation, maximum
fault current flows in wire.If fuse is connected to the
neutal:
(i) fuse will not blow when phase is shorting with
earth line and cause fire hazard.
(ii)if fuse is blown off then also phase supply
(live)will be available which wilb dangerace for the peson
