what is the working principal of diode
Answer Posted / achalla vijayshree
If a junction is formed between n type and p type doped
semiconductors, the conduction along the junction has a
strongly unidirectional property. In other words, it
conducts current in one direction (when it is forward
biased) and hardly conducts any current in the other
direction(when it is reverse bised). Such a junction device
is called semiconductor diode. Diode has got current
control property and is extensively used in electronic
devices.
