What is the diffrence between Beta Testting & Acceptance
Testing
Answer Posted / rajkumargholve
Beta Testing- Testing of S/W done by the potential user of
the product out side the devlopment orgnisation in the
absence of the devloper. Main aim is to get Feed Back from
the users about the problems regarding the use of S/W. So
problems can be fixed before s/W goes for UAT
UAT-Testing of S/W done by the potential user of the
software at the customer site to determine whether to
accept or not to accept the software. Main aim is to
determine whether S/W is fit for the purpose based on daily
business transaction. Focus is to show how system works
properly rather than finding bugs.
