Recently there was a recruitment for the post of Project
Scientist in ARCI. They are giving in pay-scale of PB3 with
all other perks as regulars and it is a purely temporary
contractual job of 5 yrs(mentioned clearly). So, contract
govt. jobs with pay-scales do exist.
Anyway, I don't think this is a contract as it was not
mentioned clearly.

There is a recruitment advt which is still open
now "Sashastra Seema Bal". Go to recruitments section of
its website. Its for Inspector(Technical), etc. It is
mentioned "Initially temporary" and likely to be permanent.
Take a look to have an idea.

There is another advt of NIOT which is now open
giving "LUMP" sum as some one said of upto 83,500 depending
on exp. It is a contract for 5 years.

My friend told me that they are making everything temporary
initially now because people don't work otherwise. Probably
our previous gen. has set an example.
