why generation is done in delta nad transmission in star?
brief
Answer Posted / gulshan goyal
if any harmonic has been generated then i should not be go
outside for transmission thats whhy we use generation in
delta because in delta harmoics induced enf creates the
circulating current. For transmission we needed 1.higher
voltage which can be achieved 1.732 times by just having
delta to star 2.in star connection we have star point which
can be used for protection by adding earth relay to that point.
