is the difference between moment and torque?

torque is the tendency of a force to rotate an object about
an axis.torque is also called 'moment' or moment of force or
twisting moment.
in physics sense it is called torque but
in mechanical engg. sense it is called moment.
torque is usually used to describe a rotational force of a
shaft while moment is more often used to describe a bending
force on a beam.
