transformer is the device which convert A.C. current to the
D.C. current .during transformation of A.C. TO D.C. the
mechanism of voltage changes in cosine waves. and during
transformation some losses as (magnetic losses)produced .so
according to ohm's law its rated in volts but in transformer
large capacity voltage passes so it rated in "kva".
